About the Worldview

The reason that the author holds a theistic world view is simply because he cannot comprehend the thought that everything he saw or felt came from nothing. He personally found it tough to deny all those things by saying that they came together in the formula of Time x Matter x Chance. In the author’s perspective, to not believe in God would take a even greater leap of faith.

After a survey of other existing world views, the closest match ended up being the Christian account of Creation. The first chapter of Romans writes that creation itself was meant to be a grand display of God’s nature and attributes; the epitome of which, is Man. Man was created as a mirror to reflect God’s glory. However Man sinned and sin marred that mirror in Man ever since. Therefore all of mankind fell short of all that God intends for them. Due to God’s love for the world, God Himself came down in the form of a perfect human to die for our sin. The name of this perfect person is Jesus Christ. Now for all who believes that He is God and follow Him wholeheartedly, they would find themselves receiving all that God intends for them. This is what Christians meant by the “gospel message” or the “good news”.

The author understands that there might still be a possibility that everything came about by chance; but he strongly suggests that there is a greater possibility that there is “someone” behind all reality. “Someone” who understands Man fully, and desires for Man to come to know “Him”.
